This is my friend Adri and we have a bit of a long history. We met in Sophomore year at a suburban high school in Northridge,CA,so said the city limits sign. Back then we didn't speak much but about drawing. Since our awkward teen years of scribbles we've evolved into two unique artists.Through the magic of facebook keeping track of every damn school you attend we reconnected! Now I get to show you all her super neat work!

I picked Adri for a feature because I have been seeing all her art posts about robots,animals and other worldly coolness. The pieces keep getting stronger and the subjects more detailed. The way she lays out a page really drew me in to wanting to know more about her work. Adri attended CSUN for a BA in Animation and has done work for Film Roman and Cosmic Toast Studios among others.

The maiden of many media

Adri is quite a mysterious lady who uses elements of street art,traditional materials and animation skill to make interesting pieces. This is my favorite illustration by her because it looks like it belongs in a Japanese fashion magazine! So much color,texture and exuberance.

Adri gets inspiration from many sources such as art tutorials,movies and music of course! She has said that she cannot go with out music to make art. It's pretty clear that it works well and that she must have some eclectic tastes in music. This illustration was done on cardboard,title My Japan.

Back when we first started our friendship tho we were both very into character design. These are a few of the characters she has designed for personal use and studio animation. Adri has a great range of styles that she easily slips into for different projects. I love that she is so versatile,especially being a chaitracter designer.
