I'm happy to announce the redesign of Kittie Cakes Designs! I asked for feedback and my friend Adri(Check out her art shes so rad!) suggested that the site needed a bg image. I recently got an internship doing graphic design and web design for Containment Field Studio and that fueled the upgrade more. It took a while because internship is 5 days a week and I JUST got done with summer semester.
I was really freed up as a web designer from this internship and learned to let go of the grid I so clung to. HTML doesn't have to be a square! Also DIV TAGS ARE AWESOME! Brushed up on my codeing too and RE-learned to make pop up windows for the portfolio page.
Uploading this image to the site I am amazed that this blogspot keeps images so ancient as 2009!
THIS is the oldest icon I have for Kittie Cakes. Way back to Steampunk Maus on gaia. While it is still cute It's too plain. I still use the same base image actually! But now it's the full on bushy haired lion. I learned to draw much better face expressions and body poses. YAY ART SCHOOL AND PRACTICE!
